Outside

Y'all, Levi absolutely LOVES being outside!! We take him outside every chance we get now that the weather is turning warmer. Most of the time we just carry him and make a few rounds around the house. But sometimes I get the baby carrier out and we go around the lake... Either way, Levi is happy!! We have also gotten the jogging stroller out twice but he is still a little small for it. Rickey and I have waited for months to be able to take Levi outside; since he was born in November it was just too cold. But now... We adore being outside together! 

Saturday we took advantage of the perfect weather and walked around/played outside a lot! We also put shoes on Levi for the first time and let him stand with them. He didn't even seem to notice! He did notice when we put him in the walker with the shoes on and he moved that walker all over the kitchen!! All he needed was a little traction!! :)

Good Morning

During the week I wake Levi up between 5:45 and 6:00 to feed him (so we are on the same schedule throughout the day). After I feed him, Rickey comes into the living room and they snuggle while I finish getting ready... This what they look like:

Are they not precious?!?!? Melt. My. Heart!!!! :)

4 Months

Levi at 4 months

• weights 14 lb and 15oz 
• is 27 inches long 
• wears 3 month old clothes all the way up to 6/9 month old... it just depends on the type. 
• uses his hands to play with toys and move his jumper seat. 
• usually wakes up twice each night.
• loves to go outside and "walk" around (I usually carry him in the baby carrier. Rickey just carries him outside. Either, Levi loves it!!!!)
• His favorite toy is his walker. And yes, he can move it around.
• still sleeps in the nap nanny beside our bed. We are going to try to take it away and see how it goes...
• The doctor said he looked great and was in the 98th percentile for length.

Idle Hands...

Idle hands do not describe Levi at all! Lately his little hands are constantly moving. He usually has them in his mouth; however, recently he has started to reach for things and play! It is absolutely precious to watch!  So far he has "played" with his stuffed monkey, car rattle, and teething monkey.

Short story: We were eating supper and I was holding him in my lap. I started to notice that Levi was pulling on the table and looking at it. So, I let him go towards what he was pulling on and he started chewing gnawing on the table! Rickey and I both just laughed! :)

If you didn't notice, we just had to get our little man a jumper... We couldn't resist! ;) He is not a huge fun of it yet but I think he will like it once he realizes what all it will do.
