Let me explain...

My house is in a perpetual state of disarray. The bathrooms need to be cleaned, the floors mopped, and let's just ignore the dust on the dresser. Two boys live here with all their toys and they play. A lot.

My hair is braided to the side every day but Sunday. (It only gets washed every once and a while.)

I wear absolutely no makeup unless it is Sunday (again) or going to a doctor.

I sometimes have a hard time remembering things such as getting food out of the freezer for supper or what we need from the grocery store.

These are just a few examples.

Now let me explain myself....

 

I signed up to earn a master's degree this year and started my first term at the end of June. I signed up for three classes so I can be finished by next May (yay me!). Normally you aren't allowed to take more than two at a time. 

Since then I struggle to get the dishes washed and clothes washed and dried (much less folded). I have stayed up every night since then until at least 11:00 and quite a few nights have been 1:30-2:00. 

I refuse to ask for help because that is who I am.  I don't feel like I need help and don't really want it to be honest. I just want you to understand. Don't take pity. Just understand. Understand that while my house is messy I just can't do it all right now. I want my boys with me while we are out for summer so while they take a nap and when they go to bed I work on my school work. I try to check my email I'm the morning but sometimes that just has to wait too. I feel guilty even doing that while they are awake. I love having my boys with me! But please understand. Don't judge me right now. If you do come stop by and notice the overflowing sink, the toys EVERYHWERE or a messy haired mommy like myself just look over it please. That is how it is going to be for a little while. :)

Coy - 11 Months

At 11 months Coy:

Weighs about 19 lb

Is about 30  inches long

Has 6 teeth and is working on getting his first bottom molar.

Wears size 3 diapers and 9 to 12 month size clothes depending on what it is.

Nurses 5 times during the day and is drinking his breast milk from a sippy cup cold instead of warm. I and daycare have tried everything to get him to drink his milk but nothing really worked. Then I had the bright idea to try it cold since it is soooooo hot and it worked! He loves it! Yay!!!! I plan on cutting at least one more nursing session before his first birthday.

Crawls *SUPER* fast. Seriously, he is like a little spider crawling everywhere! 

Loves pulling up on everything and can stand for a few seconds without holding on to anything. He is trying to stand up with holding on to anything too.

His favorite toy would be a little toy hammer that he loves to bang on the floor really loud! 

Loves to talk and we are pretty sure he added Levi and thank you to his vocabulary.

Tells his mommy "uh-uh" and shakes his head allllllll the time! 

Gives to best hugs and kisses! He holds on like there is no tomorrow and will even make a sound like he is squeezing you really tight! #meltmyheart

Adores his daddy and big brother the most! Big brother sometimes gets on his neves though... ;)

We absolutely adore his little personality! He is very laid back and happy (most of the time)! :)

Coy - 10 Months

At ten months Coy:

Weighs 18 lbs and 13 oz

Is 29 1/2 inches long

Wears size 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers

Still wakes up during the night to nurse

Has eight teeth still but is starting to get his one year molars.

Pulls up on EVERYTHING!!! 

Is starting to stand without holding on to anything! :D

His favorite thing to do is crawl around and explore. 

He loves bath time but is not a huge fun a swimming in the kiddie pool. He will "swim" for about 15-20 minutes and then he wants his mommy to hold him. :)

Is loving being able to agerivate his big brother! I swear he does some things just to make Levi mad...

Has already had his first busted mouth from pulling up in the bathroom and then falling down... :(

He is so active and constantly moving around!! We love him so!!!!!

Coy Blake 9 months old

At nine months old Coy:

Weighs about 18 and 1/2 lbs

Is about 28 inches long

Wears size 3 diapers and nine month size clothes.

His favorite thing to do is crawl all over the house following his big brother.

His favorite toy would be the little Fisher Price piano that Santa got for $11 on clearance! ;)

Absolutely loves real food! He got to where he didn't want his baby food so we tried table food and haven't looked back! He loves to eat whatever you give him as long as you are eating it too! 

His favorite time of the day would still have to be bath time! He loves to splash and play with the ducks! 

He is  crawling and pulling up and everything that he can reach! He is raelly loving being able to pull up!

Can say "mama", "dada", "hey", "bye bye", and "uh oh". He has the sweetest little voice.

He likes to just scream every once and a while... A happy scream but a high pitched little scream none the less. ;)

Loves to laugh just like his big brother and most of the time he is laughing with his brother!! They are the cutest together!!!! 

Coy Blake ~ 8 months old

At 8 months old, Coy:

Weighs 18 lbs

Is 28 inches long

Is in 6-9 month size clothes and size 3 diapers.

Wears size 3 shoes

Loves to eat real food! He is a very healthy eater! :)

We are working drinking strictly from a sippy cup but he doesn't seem to be that big a fan of the sippy cup yet...

Favorite toy would be the walker.

Favorite activity would have to crawling! He started really crawling about a week ago and now he crawls all over the floor! He can also sit up from laying down on his belly! Very excited! He was very excited about being such a big boy!

Can clap his hands, which he does often! It is so precious to see those little hands clapping! :)

Has five teeth; two on bottom, both inciserors and one front top tooth. (That's a lot of teeth for one little baby!) ;)

At Noccalula Falls

Coy - 7 months old

At 7 months old, Coy:

Weighs l7.3 bs

Is 27.25 in long

Wears size 3 diapers

Wears 6 month size cloths but his pants may be getting a little short

Favorite toy would be anything that he can make his mouth feel better. Right now that would be the food, elephant, and a cold, wet rag. He has tried to use big brothet's Hot Wheels cars but we afraid he might swallow them so that's a no-no...

Nurses/eats at least 6 times each day.

Eats lunch and supper with us big people. I am still making him baby food but if we have something that he can eat, we give it to him. He has recently eaten salmon and loved it! His favorite food is either apples or carrots.

Loves to roll around in the floor, as long as he has things to play with a keep busy! He is such a busy little baby boy! :)

Can push forward in an army crawl kind of thing. He can get up on his hands and knees but just pushes back and forth. Then he'll drop to his belly and push with his little toes and inch forward...

He can say "da-da", "hey", "bye bye", and "ma-ma". And he can wave bye bye! 

Has the sweetest little personality. He just goes with the flow and adores his big brother!

This is Coy to a T!!! He is so happy, fun, and laid back! :)

Coy Blake - 6 months

It really couldn't have been six months since this precious bundle of joy enter this world!!!!!

But it has so....

At six months, Coy

Is 26.5 inches long

Weighs 16.5 lbs

Got his first tooth 1/24/16 just a few days before turning six moths! His second tooth followed a few days later! :)

Eats baby food of all types now! He has really loved bananas, pears, carrots, and broccoli. I have made all of his baby for so far with the Baby bullet. :)

Still nurses at night and six times during the day. When he takes a bottle at daycare it his 5 ounces.

Still loves bath time the most! He adores taking baths so much that I honestly feel bad when he doesn't get one. And he is now taking baths with big brother which only adds to the fun!! They both LOVE playing together in the tub!

His favorite toy is most definitely the frog teether. Second favorite would be his jumper. He turns the seat and jumps all sorts of ways.

Absolutely loves to roll around in the floor! We recently got an area rug and it has definitely paid off! Coy rolls and twists and turns until he has gotten all over the floor and played with all his toys! He is very mobile now!

Has been practicing sitting up and can sit up by himself for a few seconds.
