Pool time!

Since summer has started I have been meaning to share some pictures of Levi and his first experience in the kiddy pool. He loved it and stayed in for at least 45 minutes, which is wonderful for him! He just sat and played the entire time! :)

Play date

Levi and I are loving spending the summer together!! Today Lorissa and her three adorable babies came to play! They were so cute! Lynnea is Lorissa's three year old and then she has twins, Jevan and Talitha, who are a month older than Levi. As soon as Jevan and Talitha got down they were off, crawling everywhere!! And Lynnea picked up all the toys that the babies were playing with!! It was so sweet and cute! All the while Levi is just sitting and watching everyone and everything!

Of course there had to be a picture to document it!! (Aren't they the cutest!!!!!) :)

Early to bed, early to rise...

The first week of summer Levi stuck to his normal morning routine and woke up between 6:15 and 6:45 EVERY morning... That was NOT how I wanted to spend my first week of summer. So after Levi woke up and got fed, he would play in his jumper and allow me to lay on the couch while I finished waking up. It was really very sweet of him!! ;) 

The second week of summer has been a bit different... Maybe he has figured out that he can sleep later, but he hasn't been waking up quite so early. And when he does he has been going back to sleep. He has been sleeping until abut 7:15 to 7:45. :) One morning he even slept until 8:20!!!! :D 

The only down fall to sleeping later is that he doesn't want to go sleep at night until later.. His normal bed time was strictly 8:30-8:45. This past week he has stayed until 9:30-10:00 three times. I guess beggars can't be choosers. It's either early bedtime and early rising or late bedtime and late rising. :) 

Monday night after staying up past bedtime... He was having a serious conversation with his daddy!

Friday night, past 10:00p.m., and he is still going strong... I bet he sleeps REALLY late tomorrow! :)

Levi ~ 7 Months

• Weight: 19 pounds
• Length: 28 inches
• Wears 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers
• Eats: Lunch and supper baby food and still gets nursed or a bottle at least 5 times. He is still waking up twice at night. We have added green beans, carrots, and broccoli to his list of foods that he eats.
• Has two teeth. They are getting longer too!!!! 
• Favorite toy: The walker!!! He is a professional walker operator! He can go all through the house, open cabinet doors, knock things off the couch and coffee table and run in that thing!! It is absolutely the cutest thing ever!! :) 
  

• He can sit up by himself without me worrying too much about him falling back, even though he still does every once and a while. He still isn't crawling and he can go backwards and go in a circle. :) He loves to swim in his little pool; and by "swim" I mean sit and play. If he does get on his stomach or back he doesn't stay for long. ;) 
• When we lay him on the bed to play he flips back and forth like a little fish! He goes from his back and stays for about 1 second then he will flip to his stomach for about 1 second! He does this constantly until we get him up! 

• We have been having so much fun this summer! I try to keep him busy with different things every day. We have danced, played in the pool, played a homemade guitar, played blocks, and then there is the infamous walker that he loves!! ;) 

• He has been screaming talking nonstop, especially during supper. It personally doesn't bother me but he does get pretty loud. His scream is still him just talking; he is usually smiling while he screams; but to other people it sounds like he is unhappy or crying. His babbling is the cutest though!! He has also learned to hold his lips tight and blow as hard as he can, resulting in spit everywhere!! :) I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Summertime!

School was officially out for the summer on Thursday but I had in-service on Friday so our summer started then! I am so excited that I get to spend the entire summer with my sweet boy!

Levi got a ride on the lawnmower with his daddy on Saturday! Aren't they just the sweetest thing you've ever seen!!! :)

We got sunglasses for Levi... He wasn't too sure about them!
