The Virus

The virus hit our house about two weeks ago and boy was it horrible! :(

Levi woke up Sunday morning and threw up all over me. But as soon as he did he looked at me and grinned so I thought everything was fine; thinking maybe he just rolled around too much. He ate breakfast just fine. I thought it was safe to go to church so off we went.... He made it through most of the service asleep and then... He woke up looked up at me and puked. A LOT. He puked about three different times all over the pew, the carpeted floor, and me. I felt so horrible!!!!! :( After that he threw up all day Sunday. Rickey went to the grocery store and stocked up on puffs, pedalite, and gadorade and Levi still couldn't keep anything down. Diarrhea started that night and last until Monday morning. Rickey took him to the doctor and they said it was a virus but he didn't have any symptoms most of the day Monday so we thought it was over... We were wrong. We sent him to daycare Tuesday. Mrs. Elizabeth called by 11:45 and said he had used the bathroom 6 times and thrown up. So I left work and went to get him. My moma stayed at home with him Wednesday. Rickey's mom stayed at home with him Thursday. And Rickey stayed at home with Friday. It was so horrible to see that sweet boy so sick and there is really nothing you can do about it. :(

Overall, the virus lasted 5 days... Sunday to Thursday. He stayed at home Friday as a precaution. He didn't have milk or eat regular food until Saturday. Now he is back on track but the virus seems to still be going around. I think a total of four children at daycare had it, Linda and Rodney caught it, and Rickey is currently recovering from it. :/

I surely hope no one else gets this HORRIBLE virus!!!!

Levi ~ 15 months

Since I'm not doing monthly updates I thought I would do a 15 month one.....

Levi at 15 months:

weighs 23 lbs

is 30 inches tall

wears size 4 diapers

wears 18 month size clothes and sleepers.

wears size 5 1/2 shoes.

loves to dip his food in whatever dip we give him.

can say Daddy, Moma, tickle, hey, yeah, bye, KK, and Pawpaw.

loves to read books with us and by himself.

pushes his big green dump truck all over the house. He stops and fills it with everything that is in the floor. :)

still loves to play outside as long as he can. He loves to pet on Duke and his toy trucks outside.

has had his second hair cut so far! His hair just grows so fast!!!!

His favorite food his eggs. He loves just plain eggs, egg sandwiches, biscuit and eggs, and the list could go on! As long as it has eggs! :)

He has discovered that he loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. So far he hasn't cared for TV at all and has only watched a second here and there. But now, he will actually sit and watch Mickey Mouse on the iPad while he takes his breathing treatments. :)

He is learning how to use a fork but mostly he just plays with it.

He can point to his nose when you ask him and we are currently working on where his ears are. :) Mostly, when I ask him where his nose is he wants to point at mine instead! ;)

He watches everything Rickey does and tries to imitate everything he does! It is precious! :)

He is seriously the best and most fun person EVER!! :)

Giving daddy a breathing treatment...

He decided that he would rather be in the basket than the clean clothes... FYI: I had to rewash the clothes because I didn't know which ones were clean!!! :)
