First Steps

Levi has taken his first steps!

I can't believe it but yes, he has officially started walking! ;') Levi took his first steps at daycare on Monday (9/8/14) but we (Mommy and Daddy) didn't get to witness his walking until Tuesday!

Mrs. Elizabeth reported that he took 4 steps in a row numerous times throughout the day on Monday. He was usually walking towards a toy when he did walk.

When we finally got to watch him take some steps he decided to show out and do seven steps at once! :) We were thoroughly impressed!!! :)

Levi Colt ~ 10 months

At 10 months Levi:

Weighs 21 pounds

Is 29 inches long

Wears size 3 diapers and 9 month clothes. Although, some his pants are getting a little short.

Has 6 teeth (still).

Can officially stand by himself! Nope, it wasn't a fluke, he can stand!! :) He has also taken one step with one foot but doesn't move the other. After he moves the first foot he gets down and crawls (really crawls!!).

His favorite toy has turned into my bathroom cabinets. We put locks on all the kitchen cabinets so he isn't a fan of them anymore. However, he is a fan of my bathroom cabinets that don't have locks yet. He loves to drag out the different things including my face wash, contact solution, and face moisturizer.  *No worries!! This is all under my supervision and he can't open any of the containers!!! :)

Brushes his teeth with a tooth brush and toothpaste. He thinks it is more of a toy than a toothbrush but whatever works!! ;)

Can push/walk his little toy truck! He started doing this at daycare so we got one for home too! He is seriously the cutest thing pushing his little truck!! :) He can also sit on it and push it that way too!!!!

No longer takes a bottle! At his 9 month check up the doctor told us he was "growing boy and he didn't need a bottle any more." So now he drinks from a sippy cup all the time! He knew how to use one before but we ere using bottles for milk, now milk either comes from me or the sippy cup! :) We have tried just about every sippy cup out there and Levi seems to do best with the Dr. Brown's, it seems to have a slower flow than the others.

Uses the big bath tub instead of the baby bath tub! Yes, he out grew the baby tub. He could still fit in it but he was leaning over the sides, standing, and moving around a lot so we took out the baby tub and he loves it! He plays and splashes and can move around wherever he wants! :)

Eats big people food and no more baby food! That was another thing Dr. Tyler said he needed... His words were "Ma'am, he is growing into a big boy and there is no need for that baby to eat baby food with six teeth." So, he eats whatever we eat. He seems to be a healthy eater, especially meat!

Is still the apple of mine and his daddy's eye! ;) :) ;)
